About Us

At some point, you just have to go for it!

While still working their day jobs, Doug and Spencer hope to bring high quality dry ciders to the Fox Valley and beyond. The Ciderworks allows them to go after traditional and very non-traditional hard ciders.

Making the best of it…

Friends since High School, Doug and Spencer started making hard cider after a trip to the West Coast. Once introduced to the depth and class of dry ciders, they decided the Fox Valley needed its own Urban Nano Cidery. Inspired by both traditional cider making techniques and a nod to the craft beers they love, they promise to always make the best of it!

The work is tough, the cider is hard.

Apples come in fall, but we find plenty to do all year round. Making the best of it never tasted so good.

Cheers

to a proper cider for a proper adventure!

Our ciders fit into any adventure. Thanks for sharing the journey with us.
